This Ornamental Tree is
perfect for the small garden and with it's bright
Autumn colour, it will remind the recipient
of you every year!
An upright tree with deeply cut,
dark green pinnate leaves which have a lace-like
appearance. The bunches of white flowers are
produced in late spring followed by orange-red
berries in autumn. This is an unsual variety
that only grows to an eventual height of 6m
(19ft 6in) so is ideal for a small garden. Grown
for its ornamental leaves, great red or yellow
fall color, flowers, and red-orange berries.
Habit is upright, to 20 feet tall and 15 feet
wide. Leaves are dark green, pinnate, 8 inches
long, with many deeply divided, elliptic, toothed
leaflets. White flowers are borne in corymbs
to 6 inches across followed by round, red-orange
fruit. This hardy tree can tolerate heat or
cold, strong winds and low humidity.

This Laburnum is a spreading
tree with dark green foliage, but it is for
the long racemes of golden-yellow flowers

In late spring and early summer,
pea-like chains of flowers, often up to 60cm
(24in) long, are produced, followed by a light
crop of poisonous seeds.
Easy to train over a pergola

fruit, this ornamental tree looks stunning in
any garden, large or small.
The strawberry tree is a beautiful
small evergreen tree or shrub that can occasionally
reach 9 metres tall and 8 metres wide, though
it is usually rather smaller. There are several
named forms and some of these are no more than
2 - 3 metres tall. The strawberry tree produces
masses of beautiful white flowers in November
and December. Since the fruit takes 12 months
to ripen, the tree carries both mature fruit
and flowers at the same time and is then incredibly
beautiful.
This is a superb plant to grow
as a specimen in a lawn, and it also grows very
well on the sunny edges of a woodland garden.

Maple!
Also known as Red Select, (Leaves
of Rice Plant) this is one of the old Japanese
cultivars. The Inaba shidare is very different
in habit from the other dissectums.
It would make a tree even if
not staked, its habit undulates upward, and
yet it retains the weeping effect. The deep
ruby red of the leaves holds all summer and
the bright red petioles set off the color quite
nicely. It is easy to grow, takes the hot sun
and humidity well, and makes an outstanding
container tree.
